Learn how to effectively integrate families into your care and treatment of clients with SUDs. \n  \nIn this course\, you will…\n\nExplore the current peer-reviewed research that supports family engagement.\nUnderstand what family dynamics are in play when a family member has a SUD issue.\nSelf-reflect on your own concerns and biases that may be a barrier to family engagement.\nLearn two family engagement strategies from the proven CRAFT model.\nDevelop your own engagement strategy that is open\, warm\, and welcoming.\n\n\nTeaching methods used\nThis workshop includes dyadic components but is focused primarily on practice and self-reflection.
