This advanced-level training is designed for practitioners who are
ready to bring their Motivational Interviewing (MI) practice to the
highest level of proficiency. Building on your foundational and
intermediate skills, this course focuses on refining your MI
techniques through structured feedback, real-time coaching, and
fidelity-based assessment.

Participants will record live or role-played sessions and receive
detailed coding and analysis using the Motivational Interviewing
Treatment Integrity (MITI) system. This evidence-based tool offers a
clear picture of your MI strengths and identifies specific areas for
improvement. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to evoke and
reinforce change talk, enhance engagement, and sustain the spirit of
MI throughout challenging conversations.
